I have a bizarre fascination with gaseous gangrene. The concept of having dead flesh on a living body is disgusting - and yet, from a conceptual standpoint, wildly interesting.
Death’s teeth and eyes are based on real symptoms of Noma, a type of facial gangrene. A hellish disease.
